    Chad update: He is getting HUGE and has been walking or should i say running since august. Hes FINALLY got teeth 4 of them. There not all the way in yet but he has managed to already chip one lol. Hes almost a year old to and i cant believe it. Hes growing up WAY to fast.

Not only do these packages put a smile on his face, but they also keep you occupied since possibilities are endless. Take the ideas I've posted here and let your imagination run wild. Remember for care package shopping... the dollar store is your friend! Your military man has only so little room to store things and he may need to get rid of somethings you send. Though he doesn't want to, it makes it easier for him if you keep it more "disposable." Like foods and cheap little knick knaks. Plus, all we're really trying to accomplish is putting a smile on his face and letting him know he's loved!

Themed Care Package Ideas:

 Hot Hot Hot: Warm him up girls! Find lots of red, oranges, and yellows! Hot peanuts, small hot sauces, fritos and jalapeno cheese dip, anything with a cinnamon flavor, hot cheetos! Now for the fun part... sned him sexy stuff! We are trying to heat them up.  Sexy pics, stories, a pair of panties sprayed with your perfume. Than wrap it all up with red tissue paper or however your imagination wants.

Cool Him Off: Time to cool him off. Go with blues and greens. Cool ranch doritos, water toys, lemonade packets, mint gums, Icebreakers mints, maybe some water bottles decorated with your own labels, sunglasses, mini hand fan. Now you can send him some pics of you doing daily things, maybe swimming or eating ice cream. (though that could still get his mind wondering. LoL. )

Armed Forces, Memorial, or July 4th: Get everything you can find in red, white, and blue! Here's a few things I found with the different colors, but as always possablilties are endless...
RED : Red hots, small bags of Nacho Doritos, Red Hot gum, cherry/ raspberry kool-aid singles, box of Ritz crackers, strawberry hard candys...

WHITE: Snowball cakes, thing of peanuts, white tic tacs, spearmint gum...

BLUE: Small package of Oreo's, Cool Ranch Doritos, blueberry flavored candys, Ice Breakers Spearmint gum, animal crakers, wild berry pop-tarts...

            -Also get little plastic flags, red and blue glow sticks (the camping ones), patriotic bead necklaces, strimmers, than put them all in a box with white paper stuffing and spread everything out. It ends up looking SO cool all together. VERY patriotic!

 

Memories Theme: It pretty much explains itself. Find things around the house or at the dollar store that'll bring back memories. Like rose petals from your wedding night, a knick-knack you have an inside joke about, a cd with songs that all have meanings to the two of you than make a list of the songs and write out what each one means. I made a minature scrapbook out of a 4x6 photo album and added fun sayings and quotes on the pictures. Also when visited my hubby in NC we would punch each other when we'd see a punch bug, so I found a little punch bug toy car and sent it!  Use your imagination with this one, possabilities are endless!

 

Under the Sea: get sparkly blue and white paper shreds (water) and fill it with gummy fishes & worms, spongebob products, whale cheese crackers, tuna pouchs, little fishing game, go fish card game, and those capsules that turn into fun shaped sponges!  Than sprinkle seashells threw out the whole thing and add fish stickers to the inside and outside of the box.

 

Sports Theme: Clip out articles of his fav team, get team flags, team logos, sports food (peanuts, big league gum, popcorn, ect.) than get sports stickers and stick them all over the inside and outside of the box.

 

Breakfast In Bed: (My Marine LOVES breakfast!): Cereal bars, orange drink packages, instant coffee, creamers, pop-tarts, dounuts, than you can make your own little breakfast-in-bed sign to make it more personal.

 

Sweet Dreams My Love: cookies, hot coco, tea, book, small reading light, little marshmellows for coco, a pillow case with your perfume sprayed on it.

 

Boys and There Toys: squirt guns, slinky, silly putty, cross word puzzles, toy soldiers, jig saw puzzles, little toys that he can bug his buddies with.

 

Candy: Get all his favorite candys together in a little box. Get the fun candies that have characters on them and light up, things that'll put a smile on his face.

 

Big Cheese: cheese balls, cheese chips, cheese dip, cheese popcorn, cheese crackers, everything cheese! They always think they're "the big cheese" so why not show him! Hehehe.

 

Color Theme: Go crazy with his favorite color. Find powder drinks in his fav color, foods, candy, toys, anything you can find!

 

 Smaller Packages & Fun "Letter" Ideas:

Puzzle Letters/ Pictures: Write him out a letter n thicker paper and cut it into puzzle pieces. Not too small though, don't want him to go crazy.  You can do the same with pictures. Make a collage of pictures and print it out. Cut it up into pieces and send him a different piece every letter... keep him waiting!

Personal Word Search/ Crosswords: Again, you can find sites online where you can make your own crosswords with your own words. And making a word search isn't too hard. First write the words down you want him to find than place random letters around them. Don't forget to make a list of the words!
